Experienced Criminal Defense
Experienced Criminal Defense
Raised in a small town in Western Montana, I went on to spend most of my adulthood in the beautiful city of Missoula. In 2012 I pursued a childhood dream of becoming an attorney and began attending Gonzaga University School of Law. Throughout my time in law school I focused on criminal and international law and subsequently was one of four students selected to represent the Law School on the Jessup Cup International Law Moot Court Team in 2014. After graduating early with high honors I remained in Spokane until moving to Mount Vernon in June of 2015 where I joined a small criminal defense law firm.
I have worked as both a prosecutor and a criminal defense attorney since being admitted to the Washington State Bar Association in 2015. My experience on both sides has given me unique insight that I use to my clients' benefit. I have over eight years of criminal defense experience and currently practice in Mount Vernon, Burlington, and Anacortes Municipal Courts, Skagit County District and Superior Courts, and the Swinomish Tribal Court. I am familiar with the Prosecutors, Police Officers, and Judges and understand what to expect at each stage of the process. I use that knowledge and experience to give you clear advice about what to expect in your case. I am dedicated to assisting my clients with compassion and understanding, and work tirelessly to obtain the best possible outcomes for my clients.
